Craft Fair at Countryside

Kids in all grades participated in Michael and Elif's "Charity Craft Craze" class during the last few months, and they created many beautiful crafts that they sold at our first ever craft fair on Thursday, April 6.

It was a huge success, and the children raised $208 for the MSPCA. Thanks to everyone who came to the fair and supported the cause!

Upper Falls Hockey League

One of our awesome 4th graders Connor Huang came up with the idea of starting an in-house hockey league at Upper Falls. He took it upon himself to create a sign-up and recruit kids of all ages at the center to join. He also arranged the teams so that each matchup would be a fair and an exciting game to watch. Conor showed an impressively mature side of himself by being able to organize the logistics of the league with little help from the staff. It was extremely empowering for him to be able to do something like this, so we wanted to give him a big shout! Go Connor!

Snow Painting

Although we were hoping for the first day of spring to actually feel like spring, there's still snow on the ground. And because we can't control the weather, we decided to celebrate the most recent snowfall by painting it! The vibrant colors that were splattered all over the snow made it easier to look at and the kids had a blast covering every inch that they could. Cheers to the first day of spring!
